The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and custodial tasks to ensure the YMCA facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position supports the Head of Maintenance by assisting with preventive maintenance schedules, responding to work orders, and helping maintain an inviting environment for members, staff, and visitors.
40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance, custodial work, or related field preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to safely use hand and power tools and operate cleaning equipment. Pool Operator certification and respirator fit test within 6 months of employment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
